That's the initial question of this exploration. With the case study of U.S.-based psychologist George A. Kelly a new "Five-Component Model" of psychological science research is constituted: "Professional and Biographical Contextualisation" (1) provides the basis for the analysis of primary documents. "Cognitive Error Analysis (2) investigates such errors in comparison with experts' reception. "Analysis of Scientific Creativity" (3) detects indicators of scientific divergence. "Hermeneutic Themata Exploration" (4) reveals persistent implicit subjects. "Determination of Successive Yield" (5) summarises scientific works inspired from the protagonist's opus. A detailed documentation enables the application of the model as well as the use of its case-analytical instrumentarium beyond the causus Kelly and the disciplinary boundaries of psychology. |
