Zusammenfassung: | In today's industrial processes reactions in dispersed gas–liquid systems are of major importance. Many products originate from gas–liquid reactions inside the bubble wake, acting as a mixing zone. High reaction yields are mainly influenced by the hydrodynamics within these zones. However, undisturbed hydrodynamic measurements of low viscous systems inside the bubble wakes are lacking. In this work we report on non-invasive MRI of gas–liquid Taylor flows. A detailed explanation of the developed MRI setup and sequence is given. |
