Therefore, a new approach for a lubricant free deep drawing process shall be realized. One basic element of this approach is the use of macro-structured tools in order to reduce the friction forces and control the material flow. This paper presents the basic process principles and the results of analytical investigations, FE-simulations and experiments for a process design without lubrication. |
