A statistical analysis of ocean bottom pressure data after removed tidal signals has been conducted. This includes noise analysis (effective resolution of the sensor), determination of the individual long-term drift of each data set and a statistical drift analysis. Subsequently, several possible impact factors on the ocean bottom pressure have been studied, in order to facilitate signal analysis of a future ocean bottom station. Both pressure variations at the sea surface as well as activities at the seafloor have been considered. As the long-term drift has turned to be unpredictable, slow linear ocean bottom movements are removed by applying a linear drift correction and cannot be studied. Thus, a new measuring method has been developed, which uses a differential pressure sensor. The theoretical approach is presented in detail.deBitte wählen Sie eine Lizenz aus: (Unsere Empfehlung: CC-BY)ocean bottom pressureParoscientific sensorlong-term sensor drifteffective resulutiontidal reductionsignal analysisvertical movements of the seafloordifferential pressure sensor500 Naturwissenschaften und Mathematik::550 Geowissenschaften, GeologieVoruntersuchungen für geplante Langzeitbeobachtungen des Drucks am Meeresboden: Sensoranalyse, Datenanalyse und Planung des MessprinzipsPreliminary investigation for observation of ocean bottom pressure: Sensor analysis, Signal analysis and development of a measuring methodDissertationurn:nbn:de:gbv:46-00101977-15
