Batches are builded at each stage according to family-specific parameters. This creates a stage-interdependent batching and scheduling problem. The thesis includes the corresponding integer linear program as well as problem specific heuristics and a metaheuristic dealing with the planning problem. All methods are evaluated by real problem instances. |
