Abstract

This paper is intended to answer the question of how soft magnetic components such as transformers or inductors can function in practical applications. There are indeed high tolerances in the raw material, manufacturing, and calculation of these components. First, the influence of various tolerances on the properties of the components is presented. The discussion of the question follows at the end.
