Ancient carbon utilization in Arctic marine waters and sediments

The thesis investigates the bioavailability of ancient carbon as it enters the Arctic Ocean, which is supplied by meltwater glaciers and eroding permafrost. The applied methods focus on isotope geochemistry and related biomarkers.
