The ability to form excellent short term consortia (so called Virtual Organisations) based on business opportunities and respectively be a part of such a consortium is an essential competitive advantage for today's companies. Therefore it is essential in a Virtual Organisation not only to assess the expected outcomes/ results of the entire Virtual Organisation but also the performance/ competencies of all the members of the intended consortia before the formation of the Virtual Organisation in order to select the most suitable partners for the fulfilment of the goals of the Virtual Organisation. This thesis provides a method how to apply a prospective Performance Measurement approach to support the Collaboration Formation in Virtual Organisations. |
