Abstract:
The syntheses, spectroscopical and structural characterization by X-ray diffraction on single crystal of the series of complexes [W(CO)5(Ph2SbX)] (X = Cl, Br, I) and of organoantimony(III) compounds containing 2,6-dimesitylphenyl substituents are reported. The syntheses, spectroscopical data, and crystal structures of the first complexes of a stable distibene are discussed. Theoretical studies were carried out on the distibene complexes and on a series of catena stibines. The spectroscopical data of the first tristibine stable in the absence of a ring-chain equilibrium are reported.
