Abstract: 
Measurements of the spatio-temporal structure formation in the system cobalt/phosporic acid have been made. Cobalt ring-electrodes of different sizes were used in anodic dissolution experiments.The influence of the geometrical cell arrangement on the type of spatio-temporal structures was investigated. Transitions from homogeneous oscillations to rotating waves could be observed when the position of the reference electrode was altered.
