Deutschland, USA, Österreich, Schweiz - Zur Eingriffstiefe von Bundesrecht zum Schutz von Bundesgrundrechten im Lichte des Europäischen Verfassungsvertrages

Abstract

The thesis deals with impact of federal law on the protection of federal fundamental rights and compares the results with the regime of the European constitutional treaty. On a first step it shows which mechanims exists on the level of the federal constitutions in Germany, USA, Austria and Switzerland. On a second step the thesis points out how the federal states can etablish their own system of protection within this framework. The third step will be a comparason with the European constitutional treaty in order to predict the future of national fundamental rights in Europe.
