Item-typ:Veröffentlichung, Einsatz internetbasierter Werkzeuge zur Unterstützung selbstorganisierten Lernens in einer persönlichen Lernumgebung(2017-12-08); ; ; The present degree thesis wants to contribute to the discussion of self-organization in Personal Learning Environments (PLE) within the framework of university teaching. As a result of the question to which extent the specifically coordinated fostering of self-learning and media competency can promote self-organized learning in a personal learning environment at all these two analysis foci will be considered as self-organization dispositions within an online seminar. Starting from the theoretical derivation about the concept of PLEs right up to the self-organization the self-learning competency and the media competency are located in the current discourse. As part of the didactic design and technical realization of a pure online event called a Successful studying with the Interneta , the research construct is examined from summer term 2010 to winter term 2014/15 (sample = 224). The research design which is composed of both quantitative and qualitative research methods and has been applied over a period of ten semesters confirms that brought media competence can be advantageous in order to handle the learning tools / methods presented in the seminar. However, students are only successful in using the tools if they have a solid foundation for mainly deep-oriented learning strategies. In addition to the support of media literacy the thesis encourages to advance in particular the self-learning competency of learners in order to prepare them for the ever-changing requirements of a digitized information society.Dissertation1164 772 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item-typ:Veröffentlichung, Virtuelle Proxemik: Konzeption, Implementierung und Evaluation einer Komponente zur Bereitstellung proxemischer Information im e-Learning(2008-10-14); ; ; For human beings it is important to know who is around in the direct environment especially the location of humans in proximity and their activity is a socially important information to us. Information about people, places and activities in direct proximity is used by humans to orient, navigate and to adjust behavior to the situation. One example of such behavior is the initiation of communication and other forms of interaction. Today's e-Learning solutions do not satisfy the social need of humans for such information. There does exist a deficit of 'awareness' and 'presence' in virtual settings. One reason might be the missing proxemic information: where other people are and what they are doing in the virtual setting.A possible solution might be to create and provide the missing proxemic information artificially and to enhance the awareness and presence of participants of each other in a virtual setting like e-Learning. To challenge this social-technical deficit might be a way to increase satisfaction of participants with e-Learning and to increase acceptance and overall quality of e-Learning solutions.Dissertation501 235 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Since theatre is successful as an old cultural technique, it is assumed that transferring its principles to online teaching can also make online learning more successful. This paper therefore deals with the question of whether certain methods and means of theatre are didactically suitable for use in online self-learning environments in order to develop a teaching method. The aim is to improve the motivation of learners in online learning and to integrate less used forms of knowledge and learning. For this purpose, the idea of an online learning theatre is theoretically founded, further developed, analysed and empirically investigated. An empirical comparison has shown that online learning theatre has led not only to stronger motivation but also to better performance and a deeper understanding of the learning material. In addition, it is also very suitable for the stronger integration of emotions and a more personal approach to learners, which is desired in eLearning but has so far rarely been implemented.Dissertation786 334
