Abstract:
The compounds from porphyrin class like porphyrins, phthalocyanines and porphyrazines are chemical systems, which can be metabolically accumulated in tumor tissue. This ability makes from them a very promising boron transport unit in boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT). This work presents synthesis attempt of bromated porphyrazines as potential BNCT agent.
