Abstract: 
Efficiency and robustness of joining processes are in focus of investigations. By using different process technics like laser and arc in combination the efficiency can be increased significantly compared to the single processes. That is based on the stabilizing effect of the laser process to the arc process. This thesis deals with the development of a coaxial laser plasma hybrid working system to investigate the influence of the laser process to the arc process. Therefore, different aluminum alloys with different oxide layers are used. The interaction zones in the arc and on the base material are investigated separately.
