Human behavior in the context of digitalization of labor - empirical studies about crowdworkers

The dissertation examines the transformation of work in the context of the digital platform economy, focusing on microtask platforms such as Amazon Mechanical Turk. It explores how crowdworkers perceive their work, what motivates them, and how they respond to algorithmic control and gamified management mechanisms. The study aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the working realities of crowdworkers, to capture their diverse motivations, and to identify potential risks and implications of this emerging form of digital labor.
